DeLeon, Arnulfo "Fito", resident of Coconut Grove, Florida for the past 30 years, passed away on February 13, 2013 art age 55 from liver failure. Born on June 25, 1957 in Alamo, Texas to Father Moncerrato DeLeon and Mother Juanita Garcia DeLeon, who both predeceased him. He was raised by his aunt Guadalupe DeLeon, now deceased. He is survived by his partner John T. Stewart of Miami, and by his siblings Roberto DeLeon of Round Rock, Texas; Raul DeLeon of Hazelton, Pennsylvania; Margarita Gaul of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania; Lupana Guzman of Alamo, Texas; Oralia Hernandez of Alamo, Texas; and Jose DeLeon of Carson City, Nevada and Virginia. Siblings Tony DeLeon, Danny DeLeon, Emma DeLeon and Rosario Perez predeceased him. Arnulfo attended St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas, Miami-Dade College and the Community College of the Air Force. He served for four years in the United States Air Force as a fire fighter. He previously worked for Alamo Car Rental in Miami and most recently was a school bus driver for Miami Dade Public Schools for the past five years. Arnulfo was a kind, loving, caring and generous person, and we who knew him will miss him terribly. His remains are being cremated and no services are planned.
