62, Miami, died 03/31/2013. Born 03/27/1951 in Rabat, Morocco; daughter of Mohammad Senhaji and Halima bint Hajoui. Sister of Khalid Senhaji; Sophia Todd; Omar Senhaji; Chadly Senhaji; Yasmina Craig; beloved aunt to their many children; beloved wife to James S. Nuttall. A gifted linguist, fluent in many languages, Fadela was a teacher of French, Arabic and Spanish for over 15 years for the US Peace Corps in Morocco. From 1985 to '97 she and her husband traveled and worked for Save the Children, implementing assistance programs for war-effected populations in Pakistan, Malawi and Yugoslavia. A dear friend, neighbor, confidant, within her community in northeastern Miami, renowned for her hospitality, humor, charm and fabulous Moroccan cooking. In accordance with her Muslim faith Fadela's body was interred Tuesday afternoon, April 2, 2013 at the Dade Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial is tentatively planned to take place in the Clipper Condominium (305-754-5411) April 7th. In lieu of flowers it is recommended donations be made out to the US Peace Corps' Partnership Fund or to Save the Children.
