Maximo Rodriguez

RODRIGUEZ, MAXIMO, 67, of Englewood, NJ, beloved husband and best friend of Gilda for 43 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for, and loved on October 1, 2013.He was predeceased by his parents Maximiniano and Lina Rodriguez whom he adored. M ximo was born in Zaza del Medio and came to the United States via Spain in 1963. He also spent time in the military and served in the Vietnam War. M ximo owned Atlantic Tropical Market in Hoboken, NJ for 40+ years. He had many longtime employees and clients, of which many became his close friends. Besides his wife Gilda, M ximo is survived by his three sons M ximo and his wife Crissy of Hockessin, DE, Jesse and his wife Cynthia of Newark, DE, Alex and his wife Lauren of Fort Lee, NJ, and his lovely daughter Rosie and her husband Sam Mu¤oz of Englewood, NJ; his grandchildren,Taylor, Jesse, Devon, Max, Grace, Logan, Victoria, and Julien; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the members of the Hope Lodge. Their kindness and effort to provide quality care and support were a heartwarming blessing to the entire family. We thank God for the gift of his life and the blessing of the time we spent with him. A viewing will be held honoring M ximo on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Morgado Funeral Home, 525 45th Street, Union City, NJ. Mass to follow on October 5th at Holy Family Church, 530 35th Street, Union City, NJ. Burial will be at Arlington Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
