GRAUMLICH, NANCY L., 87, formerly of Miami, died on July 24, 2013, in Mount Dora, Florida. Nancy was born in Lexington, Kentucky, to Abner and Mai Foster. Nancy graduated from the University of Kentucky. Nancy enjoyed many UK activities and was a proud member of Delta Zeta sorority. Shortly after graduation, Nancy traveled with her family to South Florida. She met and married George D. Graumlich, Jr. Nancy and George raised four children in Miami. Nancy worked as a public school teacher
and residential realtor. Nancy and George made their retirement home in Melbourne, FL. After 42 years of marriage, George passed away in 1993. Nancy then moved to The Villages, FL. She stayed active in her church, played golf, and enjoyed many new friendships and family get-togethers. Nancy is survived by her children, James (Peggy) Graumlich, Karen (Chris) Gaston, Diane Graumlich, Jean (Bob) Kaufman; her sister, Carole Russo; her brother, Douglas (Gladys) Foster; ten grandchildren, and her friend, John Bergquist. Nancy will be sincerely missed and remembered by her family and her friends. A memorial service and interment of ashes will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at Miami Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation, Tampa, FL, or New Covenant United Methodist Church, The Villages, FL, or Delta Zeta Sorority Foundation.
