MEHALLIS, Ruth, affectionately called "Ruthie" by many passed away October 31, 2012 at "Ninety Years Young". She spent her youth in North and South Carolina but she considered Coral Gables her true home since the early fifties. She will be truly missed by not only her three children, Julie Adams, Sissy Ruffe (Steven), and George Mehallis Jr., her grandchildren, Chip Adams (Abby), Benjamin Adams, Lance Ruffe, and great grandchildren, Morgan Ruffe, Robinson Adams, but all of those that had the honor of knowing and loving her. A celebration of her life will take place November 18, 2012 in the home of her daughter in Coral Gables, Florida.
