She is survived by her eight children, Richard McGrath, Thomas McGrath, Mary Ellen McGrath Connor, Tina Ricks, Barbara Stinson, Frank Yates, Greg Yates, and Paul Yates. She was loved by 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She had an extraordinary relationship with her grandchildren who loved her humor and her playful spirit. They cherish the memories of Ginny creating haunted houses for Halloween, backyard Easter Egg hunts, and wonderful Christmas celebrations. Ginny was loved for her great sense of humor, her laughter, and her love of telling long stories that could wander through many topics. She spent over 30 years working in the retail business. She was a kind, outgoing, good-hearted person who made friends everywhere she went. A celebration of her life will be held in Florida at a later date.
