I was very sad to read of the passing of Bobby Coyle and extend my most sincere condolences to his Family and friends. While I am unaware of why he was taken so early I do recognize that none of us are to question these reasons.
In reading the responses of other in this book I am reminded of the positive feelings that I to had with with Mr.Bobby Coyle. My memory is faint as to names during my youth as well as some relationships but I to was a fixture in the rear of the Flingo pickup on Saturday Nights and rarely missed events at the speedway. However It was as an adult that I had encounters with Bobby that have left me with my most fond impressions and memories. I recall walking through the pit area after the conclusion of the races with my wife and young son and being approached by this excellent racer Bobby Coyle in a warm and friendly manner. A huge smile hand shake and greeting by a racer I respected. I must admit that at the time I was not really sure how he knew me and It was sometime after that I became aware that our paths had crossed earlier in life. I can tell you for sure my 10 year old son and wife were throughly impressed with this man. This happened on a number of occassions and Bobby Coyle was a big hero in my home for sure. As regulars at the speedway and racing fans as of today it can be said that true gentlemen and gracious racer's. and more importantly hero's like Bobby were not easy to come by at Hialeah Speedway or many other tracks for that matter.
I recognize this response was long but I do feel the desire to share these great memories with Bobby's family and friends. I know his family must be extremely proud to have had Bobby as such a large part of their lives.
May God bless his family and hold them tightly during this very difficult period.

Marilyn and I send our condolences to the family. Bobby was in our wedding in 1969. We grew up together since the time he moved to Miami. I was with him the first time he took a racecar out on the track at Hialeah Speedway, and you knew then he was going to be a racecar driver. He was a good friend and he was a special person. I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I raced with Bobby at Hialeah Speedway my number was 53. Know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.

Dear family of Bobby I'am so sorry to hear of Bobby passing away,I worked with Bobby for years at the miami international airport and was so honored to have been able to have known and work with Bobby he always knew what to do to get the job done profesionally and always treated people with kindness.I will surely miss him until we meet again for I do not want you to be ignorant breathren ,concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.for if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this I say to you by the word of the Lord that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.And thus we shall always be with the Lord!Dear Jesus welcome Bobby to Your Kingdom and comfort his family and loved ones with your presence and peace knowing Bobby is OK and with you and is just waiting for us to go racing with him again! All my LOVE William Berendsohn Electrican local union #349.
