Dear Amy, Sheryl, and Family:

Self-confidence without arrogance is how I remember Hal. I was his dentist (and Sheryl's also) when he was a young man. I can still remember his smile and his happy glow. So sorry to hear of his passing.

Hoping that all of your memories of Hal will be pleasant ones as well.

To the family: Unlike the many who have expressed their condolences before me, I cannot claim that Hal was my friend. We barely knew one another, if at all, but we shared apparently some common paths. It seems we both grew up in the same general area (NMB), attended the same high school (NMB), ultimately settled in the same community (Cooper City) and were big baseball fans. I clearly remember him on the diamond coaching Lee's team, exhorting him and Lee's teammates to make that accurate throw or get that extra base. I remember him giving the team words of encouragement and instruction. We exchanged observations and friendly words on the field when Lee's team played my son Jeremy's. It seems now, based on what others have said or commented, that my recollections of my scant encounters with Hal was a microcosm of the man he was. Mutual friends have enlightened me about his passion, his commitment, his kindness and his largesse. My sincere condolences to all of you on my and my family's behalf. May his life and legacy be perpetuated.

I lived in Adventura, villa dorado bldg. Next door to Hal. I was 13 when I moved there, Hal and I always joked around. We had a lot of fun. I am deeply sadned by the news of his passing. I wish his family love and light at this sad time. I recently tried to get intouch with Hal for facebook and I felt bad that he was not a part of chatting with us all from NMB now i understand why.
rest in peace old friend.

Karen and I want to express our heartfelt sympathies on the loss of Hal to the family. I served with him on the Investment Committee of the Federation and he was an insightful, intelligent guy. I lost my dad at age 20 so I have some understanding of the impact on the children. However his spirit and his positive "messages" will live on through them. Condolences from Karen and myself.

Amy and family;

Hal and I met years ago when he was with Herb at Foremost. I learned to rely on Hal for his knowledge and sense of humour.

He was a person of ethics,integrity and values. He was always there and willing to help anyone.

The tremendous number of people at the funeral service today is a true testament to the values he held and the people he touched.

Our sincere condolences on his passing. He will always be in our thoughts.

I was shocked when I read the obituary (just a habit) and saw Hal Rosenberg's name listed.
I knew Hal when he was just a young charming boy. I worked with his mother Liz and his Aunt Renee.
I lost touch with the family over the years, but my thoughts are with the entire family. I know the sadness you are feeling, I lost my brother to brain cancer 3 years ago.
