MISHKIN, DR. JACK Dr. Jack Mishkin passed away on January 6, 2014 at the age of 92. He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 67 years, Mildred, his sister Shelly Fleisher, his nephews Jeffrey and Wayne (and Jackie) and great niece Jessica. He is predeceased by their son Stuart of blessed memory. Jack was a special man with a very warm and beautiful heart who was always eager to help others. He treated his patients as if they were family. Son of the late Max and Esther, Jack graduated from Boys High in Brooklyn, NY, New York University, and Temple University School of Dentistry. He later returned to NYU where he became a board certified Periodontist. Jack was a Diplomate of The American Board of Periodontology and was a past president of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity and the Miami Beach Dental Society. He was a proud WWII veteran and enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the world with Mildred. The graveside service will be held on Wednesday January 8, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Lakeside Memorial Park, 10301 NW 25th Street, Miami, FL. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Committee for Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, 3275 West Hillsboro Blvd, Suite 200, Deerfield Beach, Florida 33442.
