BOWER, ANNE McQUAID, 91, wife of popular Miami Ford and Honda Dealer, Bill Bower, born 1920, in Louisville, Kentucky; a resident of N. Miami Beach since 1960. Loving mother of Bill, Gary, and Linda, mother- in-law of Danny Smith, Georgia Bower and Rose Ann Bower. Grandmother to Dina, Beverly, Shannon, and Billy. Great-grandmother to Brandon, Katelin, Sheridan, and Danika. Anne and her husband Bill traveled the world, mainly on cruises. 15 years ago, Anne and her husband made arrangements to be cremated, and to take their last cruise together in the Gulfstream. Anne was an avid bowler for many years, and also enjoyed playing Bingo for many years. Anne was an avid U of M devotee, and a enthusiastic Miami Dolfin fan. Anyone that met her thought that she was one of the loveliest, sweetest women that they had ever met. She never had an unkind word to say about anyone. She was a long-time parishioner of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in N. Miami Beach. There is going to be a private family ceremony. Any donations can be given to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
