WALLACE Arline Lafferty Wallace, 75, of Marathon passed away on January 16, 2014 in Key West, Florida. Born in Dayton, Ohio on June 9, 1938, she was the eldest of seven children to Stanley and Celeste Lafferty. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Scott Patrick Falta. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Bob Wallace of Marathon. She is also survived by 5 children from her first marriage; Bruce Falta of Marathon, Craig Falta of Orlando, Sally (David) Manz of Marathon, Amy (Jerry) Puto of Marathon, and David (Velvet) Falta of Wellington, FL; 13 grandchildren: Jasmine and Justin Falta, Steven and Sarah Falta, Olivia, Cassie and Zoe Manz, Alex and Dima Puto, Shannon Batton, Ryan Maldonado, and Juliana and Alyssa Falta; 4 great grandchildren, and three step-children; Leigh, Perry and Carol Ann. She was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where she was the eldest sister to and is survived by Jerry Lafferty, Carolyn (Dick) Elmlinger, Ed (Chris) Lafferty, Margie (Doug) Dixon, Peggy Dill and Jim (Susan) Lafferty. Arline was a Realtor in Marathon for most of her adult life. She loved the beach and the Keys atmosphere. Arline was also a volunteer for Hospice and was deeply involved in the Coldwell Banker Schmitt Charitable Foundation. A celebration of Arline's life will be held on Saturday, February 1st at 11:30 am at San Pablo Church in Marathon.
