Carroll Richard Green, Jr., 53, a fourth-generation Miamian and avid fisherman, passed away after an extended illness on April 18, 2014. He was born in Miami and attended South Miami High School and Irwin County High School in Ocilla, Georgia. A plumber by trade, he was a member of the UA Plumber's Local No. 519. He is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Maria, his daughters Maria Elizabeth and Michelle, and son Carroll Richard, III. He is also survived by his parents, Carroll, Sr. and Janet of Ocilla, Georgia, his sister Alice Riddell (Todd) of Oviedo, his brother Mike of Davie, his brother-in-laws Brett Corbett (Maritza) and Ryan Devereux, both of Miami, and sister-in-law Renee D'Avirro (Mike) of Newington, Connecticut. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wildlife Foundation of Florida or the are suggested.
