JONES, CECELIA L., RN, CRNI, went home to be with the Lord on July 4, 2012. Born in West Palm Beach on October 16, 1940, her family moved to Hialeah in 1949 and graduated from Hialeah High School in 1958. Graduating with honors from Jackson Memorial School of Nursing in 1972, receiving the Scholarship Award, she worked as a R.N. for North Shore Hospital for many years. While there she lead the I.V. Therapy Team and created many training programs for the hospital. Leaving North Shore, she became associated with Baxter and Becton Dickinson as an I.V. Therapy Consultant, traveling across the country teaching hospital staff in the use of I.V. equipment. Cecelia is survived by her husband of 41 years, Stephen, her son, Stephen Jones, daughter, Leslie Fernandes and grandchildren Jonathan Poulos, Claire Fernandes, Rebecca Jones and Jordan Jones. She is also survived by her sister, Esther Hart and brother Robert Burke, both of Dade City, Florida. Services will be held on at Miami Shores Baptist Church on July 8, 2012 at 6:00 P.M. with a viewing from 4-6 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Miami Shores Baptist Church.
