Curtis Brian Allums, 58, born in West Chester PA, moved to Miami, FL at a young age. He spent his time in Boy Scouts achieving Eagle Scout with Silver Palm, attended Flagami Baptist Church with his family and graduated from Coral Park High School. He joined the Air Force and served in Misawa, Japan where he spent his free time volunteering to teach English to Japanese children and earning a degree in Criminal Justice from Long Beach City College. Back in the states he continued serving in the Air Force Reserves working as an Avionics Technician and after his service he spent 28 years as a Licensed Massage Therapist. He earned a brown belt in Jiu Jitsu, enjoyed reading about Civil War and had a continued interest in Photography. He was well known to his community as a kind man who always had a warm smile and friendly personality. He is survived by wife, Virginia Allums; parents Curtis and Rosemond Allums; brother, Jeffrey Allums; daughters, Carolyn Lundell and Cynthia Allums and many more family. He will be greatly missed by the McElwee families in PA, the Allums families in AL, the Santaniello/Jackson clan, Snickers and everyone who ever met him. Memorial service Friday, March 22 held at Genesis Funeral Home between 12 - 3 PM.
