Del Rio ODELSA

DEL RIO, ODELSA, 77, passed away May 30, 2011 in Houston, TX. Ms. Del Rio was born in Chambas Camaguey, Cuba and was forced to immigrate with her family to the U.S. in 1962, to escape the Castro communist regime. As a proud member of the Cuban-American community, Ms. Del Rio raised her family and had a successful career in Puerto Rico and Miami. She was known as "Mami" and had the ability to touch everyone's heart. Her smile will be remembered forever. Mami will continue to live through her family. Survivors include: sister, Olga Alonso, 2 daughters, Odelsa Flores and Cristine Pistol, 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
