BERGMANN, George. The Mount Sinai Medical Center Family pays tribute to George Bergmann, a veteran South Florida developer who demonstrated an overwhelming support of our hospital as a donor and a lay leader for more than three decades. Mr. Bergmann was a former member of our Board of Trustees, and he served on the board's Executive Committee and numerous other committees as well. As a result of his philanthropic support, Mr. Bergmann ascended to the level of Visionary in the Society of Mount Sinai. He also was a member of the Legacy Circle, the Founders of Mount Sinai, the Young Presidents Club (YPC), and The Cancer Lifeline (TCL). All of us at Mount Sinai are extremely grateful for Mr. Bergmann's longstanding support. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Mr. Bergmann's wife, Marla, his extended family and his friends. He leaves a legacy of helping others through his kindness and generosity, and he will always have a special place in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
