BAJGER, JOE, 54, of Cooper City, passed away June 26, 2012. Joe was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey in 1957 to George and Maryann Bajger. After moving to Florida with his family as a teenager he graduated from South Broward High School in 1975 and then attended Miami-Dade Community College. He began a long and dedicated career in the HVAC industry and was a longtime member of ASHRAE. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, scuba diving, trapshooting, photography and reading. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Alex in 2009, but passed on the love of his hobbies to her and his son. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, son/brother-in-law, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Tina; his son, Joe Bajger; brother, George Bajger; sister, Donna Griffey; and their families. Joe was diagnosed with lung cancer in November 2009 and fought the disease for 3 years succumbing on Tuesday, June 26. The measure of a man is not whether he falls down, but whether he gets up again, and Joe got up! If love could have saved him, then he would have lived forever. To the love of my life, I miss you with everything I am and patiently wait till the three of us can be together. A memorial service will be held, Saturday, June 30, 2012 from 10 AM 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the or . Cremation arrangements by T.M.
