VIVANCO, JOSE CLEMENTE Jose Clemente Vivanco, a man whose joy of life and brilliance of mind made an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him, died on November 30, 2013. Born in Havana , Cuba, on October 27, 1929, grandson of Cuban patriot and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Cuba whose name he shared. Clemente 's talents as an entrepreneur, businessman, and consultant spanned the worlds of finance, real estate, and communications. Many in the Cuban community remember his Spanish radio program, Elsabelotodo, (the "Know it All"), which aired on WQBA-AM in the late 1990s. Extraordinary raconteur, wine connoisseur, a deep lover of philosophy and poetry, Clemente's inexhaustible joy of life and intellectual curiosity always brought happiness and the gift of knowledge to those around him. He was a beloved companion to his adored wife of 45 years, Adriana Clemencia Petit de Vivanco, who died in 2006, an unforgettable love story that always touched those who knew them. Clemente's kindness as a person, his generosity of spirit, his loyalty as a friend, and dedication to his loved ones - not to mention his love of laughter - will always be remembered by all who loved him. He will be profoundl\y missed. He is survived by his sister Yolanda Vivanco Piedra and her husband Joaquin H. Piedra, nephews Yolanda and JoseMaria Piedra Ruis nchez, Ileana Piedra and Carlos Armengol, Joaquin A. Piedra and Teresita Mariano M. Piedra and Claudia, his stepdaughter Lydia Diaz Cruz de Leon and husband Leon de Leon; grandchildren Lidia Mar¡a de Le¢n, Le¢n Mario de Leon (Lisa) and John de Leon, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. A Mass in celebration of his life will be held for friends and family on December 14 at 11 am at St. Patrick's Church in Miami Beach.
