KENNETH MARLIN Obituary

MARLIN, KENNETH. In memory of Kenneth Marlin. The world has lost a great man. A man of great integrity, generosity, compassion and ethics. He will always be remembered and greatly missed by so many that loved him. He is survived by his family and many, many dear friends. He was a loving husband to Deborah Marlin, beloved father to Richard, Philip and Kevin. He was a wonderful grandfather to Michael, Michelle, Sam and Sara. His compassion extended to people he knew his whole life and to others he barely knew. He touched many lives and helped change the course of others. He loved justice and advocated honesty. He was one of a kind. He was an animal lover and often got into trouble as a child for bringing home stray dogs. In his memory and honor please donate to the Humane Society of your choice or to Animal Aid, Inc. 2266 N. Dixie Hwy., Boca Raton, FL 33431. Services will be held on Wednesday, June 08, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel, 2401 West Cypress Creek Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. View this Guest Book at www. MiamiHerald.com/obituaries.

I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER MR MARLIN AS A KIND COMPASSIONATE PERSON. HE GAVE ME MY FIRST BREAK AS A LANDSCAPER AT ONE OF HIS SOUTH FLORIDA PROPERTIES. AFTERWARDS HE GAVE ME ALL OF THEM. HE WAS ALWAYS FAIR AND GENEROUS. R.I.P. MY FRIEND. ( GEORGE GORDON) MONTEGO BAY JAMAICA

I will always remember Kenny as a handsome, warm, kind and friendly person! We go all the way back to Miss Beatrice Dee’s Nursery School on Miami Beach when we were both toddlers. We went all through elementary, junior and senior high school together and graduated in the same famous class of 1958 of Miami Beach High School. Kenny was beloved to all. We will miss him tremendously from our “family of classmates”! My condolences and deepest sympathy to his wife Deborah, children: Richard, Philip and Kevin, grandchildren, and his extended family, and friends.

Sharp-witted, decisive, plain-spoken, just plain funny. Always truthful about himself and the best friend his friends will ever have. Cheers to the life Kenny lead. May all those memories help to fill the void he has left. Nancy Robbins Woodall

Kenny's warmth, humor, and kindness will be remembered by me forever. He touched my life, both directly, and by the cherished friendship he had with my Dad.

The world has lost a special person.
I have this feeling there's one more star up in the sky tonight.
And even though it's far away, its brightness and warmth still reach us here to make the night a little less dark.
