The most beautiful woman in the world has gone to her new home in heaven and is reunited with her husband, Joseph, parents, sisters, and friends. Leona, 88, was born on July 24, 1924 in Lowell, Ma. She left us on December 21, 2012 in Miami, Fl. Although we know that she is dancing down streets of gold, there is an emptiness in our hearts, never to be filled. What a blessing to have a mom, grandma and great grandma to guide us lovingly through our lives. She was a Godly woman who instilled Godly values in her family. She was a fun and clever mom, always singing, making beautiful clothing for her girls and skateboards for her boys. She welcomed her sons and daughters-in-law as her own children. We miss her so very much. Many people were touched by her beautiful life, but none more than her children: Mary Lee (John) McGuire, Russell (Anita), Shaun (Patti), Bryan (Shery), Kathleen and Kerry (Michael) Lorich. Grandchildren: Kelly (Brian), Jason, Jonathan (Kristin), Leona, Scott, Talley (Matthew), Krista, Phillip (Chelsie), Joey and Cody. Great Grandchildren: Austin, Luke, Payton, Logan, Sammy, Avery and Skylar. Mom, you are our sunshine. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 27th from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Caballero Rivero Woodlan, 11655 SW 117 Ave, Miami, Fl 33186, (305)238-3672. Followed by a service and graveside memorial.
