Labissiere, Linda, passed away on April 14, 2013 with her loved ones at her side. Linda was born in Haiti on October 28, 1980 and came to the United States in 1983. Growing up she became an "all American girl" with a lot of sass and spunk. At the tender age 7, Linda was diagnosed with diabetes which she struggled to control on a daily basis. Ultimately, succumbing to one of diabetes many complications. Her short life was filled with a passion for music, reading, travelling and partying. The highlight of her week, was spending Sundays with her family; Allison (mom), Danny (dad), sisters Danielle and Tori, as well as Dan Wick Sr. (FaFa) and dear friend Ann Soucy. Linda will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Memorial service will be held Thursday, April 18th between 6 and 8 PM at Van Orsdel Chapel, 11220 N. Kendall Dr., Miami, FL 33176 The Wick family requests that donations in Linda's name be made out to the Diabetes Research Institute R77, 1450 N.W. 10th Avenue, Miami, FL 33126.
