HARTNETT, LINDA MARGARET, 73, of Bal Harbour, Florida, passed away on November 14, 2012. Her family was at her bedside at the time of her passing, surrounding her with love. She is survived by her loving husband, John, and her beloved children, Laura Carver and her husband, Russell, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, and Mark Taylor of Sacramento, California. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Bob Lanham, and her brother, Don Gholson, and his wife, Sandy, along with many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Linda was born on April 20, 1939, in Washington, DC, the eldest child of Rex and Laura Gholson. She grew up in Arlington, Virginia and attended Bryant College in Rhode Island. After graduation, she settled in Massachusetts, where she lived for several years. She moved to Florida in the 1970s. In 2000, she married her husband, John, and they led a blessed life together, traveling and enjoying time with friends and family. They had such great love for one another. Linda was a beautiful, funny, smart and generous woman who loved reading and visiting with friends. She will be missed by all who knew her. At her request, there will be no service. A celebration of life will be held at a date to be announced.
