LUCILLE MAY TREMBLEY

TREMBLEY, LUCILLE MAY, died peacefully surrounded by her children after a brief illness on Monday, February 13, 2012. Born on May 15, 1924 in Pittsburgh, PA, Lucille moved to Miami at the age of 6 where she graduated from Gesu High School. At the age of 19, she married her one and only true love Phillip W. Trembley and after losing their first child Pamela days after birth, they proceeded to have and raise 6 loving children. Despite losing her beloved Phil at the early age of 54 she remained faithful to him for the rest of her life and dedicated that time to her family, faith, and friends. In 2004, she was blessed to be reunited with her sister Dorothy who returned to Miami after Dorothy's husband William Braun passed away. The sisters enjoyed each other's time together until Dorothy passed away May 2011. Lucille was truly the epitome of the world's best mom. She was very religious, and raised her family in faith, supporting her children and her many grand- children in all of their endeavors. She was always happy and giving of herself for whoever was in need. She could always be coaxed into a good game of Scrabble or Yahtzee. The family gatherings were joyful occasions with our mom being there, and they will never be the same. She is survived by her sons Phillip, Frank, John and Steve, and daughters Donna Roberson and Janet Armstrong and their respective spouses, 26 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, all of whom brought her great joy. The family extends their gratitude to Father Brescher of St. Philomena Catholic Church where Lucille attended mass regularly. A funeral mass will be said in her honor at Epiphany Catholic Church on Thursday (TODAY), February 16, 2012 at 11:00 am. Burial services to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery.
