My dad was probable the best, strongest, and most loving person this earth will ever see. It's sad that it was for a short time but it was better than never.

“God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.”
In loving memory of a beautiful soul Luis Valdes-Perez. Thank you "God" for giving us all the chance to meet a man with a GOLDEN HEART.

Dear Ms Valdes & Sandi...I am so sorry to learn of your husbands/fathers passing. But I know he is in better hands now and I will pray for him. Remember, when God takes a loved one from us, He leaves a gift of memories in exchange.
Stay well

Teri and Sandi, you are in our hearts and prayers. Hearing Luis' partners and family speak of his life and legacy brought home the huge hole that his passing has left. Know that we are there for you...you have only to ask. Or maybe tell us to go away when you get tired of us being by your side. We love you guys!

I first met Luis when he came to my squad as a 'blue-shirt' on riding assignment from the academy. I loved his straight-faced humor and the intensity he brought to learning his new job. He was very smart and capable, and I knew he would have a good career. I am very sad that he did not get to enjoy the long and happy retirement that he deserved. Rest in peace Luis, and God Bless You and your family.

Teri, I met Luis as a rookie in Cutler Ridge. He rode with me and we had a great time. He was always ready and eager to go to work, and I hope I helped him with the start of his career. I've been retired for 10 years now and was sadden by the news of Luis. The world is less of a place by one person now.
May he rest in peace.

Valdes Family you have our sincere condolences and although no words can really help to ease the loss of your loved one, just know that our prayers are with you. Jesus and Ayme (your next door neighbors)

A candle to warm the empty place in your hearts. Lots of love and hugs to all of you and know I'm with you in thought and prayers as you do what must be done today. I'm trying to be strong for you, Maureen, as I know you are trying to hold it together for Teri and Sandi Marie. It's not going to be easy for either one of us. Hopefully, knowing Luis is at peace now, will somehow give us peace as well.
Our love, Jack and Jeanie
