CID, MARIA JULIA, died peacefully at Mercy Hospital in Miami on June 26th, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her son Arturo A. Cid, M.D., his wife Patricia residents of Broward County, Florida. Daughter Maria Julia Bravo and her husband Dr Ray Bravo Prats, residents of Marbella, Spain. Her grandchildren Arturo Alessio Cid resident of Broward County, Florida. Jessica Marie Cid-Ramsay and Raymond Arthur Bravo residents of Miami, Florida and her great grandchildren, one surviving sister Gertrudis Rodriguez and nieces and nephews. She was a political immigrant fleeing the Castro's regime five decades ago. She worked in tele- communications in Cuba and with hard work and perseverance became a teacher in the United States until her retirement from the Dade County Schools. She was active and lived a vibrant life, loving music and arts but above all she loved her family. She had an enduring spirit that lives on. Those we love never leave. They walk beside us always, unseen and unheard but always near.
