Walker, Reese H., 93 died on April 23, 2013. He served proudly during WWII in the US Navy on an LSM vessel. He retired from Eastern Airlines in 1982 after 37 years working in the reservations department. After retiring, he and his wife Doris moved to Mt. Rest, SC enjoying life together until her passing. The last member of his generation of ten children, he passed on to be with his beloved parents and siblings. He loved family, gardening, making beautiful piano music and baking. He is survived by his daughters, Nora Dowd (Dr. Brian); Nancy Sims (Dr. Robert) and grandchildren Kathleen Veach (Ryan), Christine Cunningham (Sean), Trevor Dowd; great-grandchildren David, Sarah and Ryan; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews all of whom he loved very much. There will be what Reese called a "Drop-In" to share some of his favorite confections and remembrances of his life at East Ridge Retirement Village-Dining Room Lounge on Saturday, April 27th at 2pm.
