I was so sad to hear about his passing. I found out last yr right after Christmas. I sent him a card with a Christmas pic of the family. I was sent back a nice letter letting me know of his passing. Robert and my brother Juan were best friends! He was really there for me when my brother passed away 18 yrs ago. He called me his sister! :) He kept in touch with me for all these yrs. He went to the baby shower's of my two sons, and every year sent my boys a Christmas present. Robert was a wonderful man! I miss him and think about him often. R.I.P Robert I love you!

Wow I just found out.. Im so sorry to hear of his passing i was out of touch for the past 2 years battleing cancer her and as calling to let him know the good news i beat it. You were a wonderful man and did wonderful things in this world i knew you a good 20 years and always enjoyed your company, wisdom, and character..i will miss you and if its possible i hope you get this message from the great beyond, your friend Robert Knott

Bob!!!! I just can not believe it! I knew you were sick, just never knew that you would leave us so soon. My parents and I are very greatful, thankful, saddened, but happy to have known you for 23 years. You were not just our family attorney, you were our friend. Thank you for being that great guy, for giving me the opportunity to have known you, for always lifting my mom's spirit. She too will always have you in her heart. You were always there in our families troubles, and you got us out of them, too!!! You always remembered my little brother Yovani and Michael. From my first car accident at age 16 to my last one at 38 you were always there for me. I will never forget you!!!!

Family, this is Eddie Perrault, One of his long ago client, He was the best, I meet Mr. Romagna back in 8/16/1997. I was involve in a car accident in Homestead Florida that everyone pass and I was the only survivor, He told me that you were one of the lucky one and that you were chosen, and that god was with you. He always called me to see how i was doing, i will miss hem, and he was the best. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

In my 44 years of practicing law in Miami, there was one guy who I felt every time we met, had the pulse of what we do at his finger tips. I will miss his friendship and ingenuity and I express my condolences to his loved ones but I also will miss this genuine one in a lifetime person.

There are not words to describe my friend Bob. Because he was a combination of many goods things and I had the pleasure to be part of it. I knew him im Miami. I spent a good time with him.Here some words that I can use to describe him: generous, kind, funny,polite,friendly and charismatic but what I admire the most is the respect for others.

Bob was a kind and gentle soul, and very special to all of the Polsky family. He adored Josh and Ali from their early childhood, and was a dear friend of Carolyn's. I recall his wonderful sense of humor and generosity that were ever present. He was cherished, and left us with many happy memories.

One day on the phone he said to me, "Oh, little Alex has grown up." obert knew me from a time when I was child. I only regret no t having spent more time with Robert as of late. Hw always had so many insightful things to say to me and his advice was always perfect and just what I needed. Robert would tell my mother how close he was to his own mother and how he would speak to her daily when he was in school. I could say so much. I would like to speak to Robert's loved ones. Our dearest friends, how profoundly sad Eric and I feel to hear this news. Our hearts go out to all of you. Sometimes people touch your life without even knowing it and Robert had a very key role in my life. I first met Robert at the Romagna home in Cambridge back when I was a junior in high school and friends with Connie and Gary. To this day, I have very found memories of that home along with Louise, Pete and Andrea. The day I met Robert we were all sitting around the kitchen table and Robert asked me about my plans for college. I told him I was applying to Northeastern and Tufts and he gave me the best advise I ever got: "Ask for an interview, you want them to meet you in person and not be just a facelesss application." At that time, I was the first in my family to graduate from high school, let alone college - so I didn't have a clue that one could even ask for an interview. Shortly after this conversation, there I was sitting by myself in the Tufts administration office with a room full of rich kids all with their parents in tow. I think that the woman who interviewed me thought that it took a 19 year old kid a lot of guts to show up all alone that I was given early admittance to Tufts and that educational experience had a profound impact on my life and my destiny. My prayers and best wishes to the Romagna family. I knew Bob for over 30 years. He was a lawyer that cared about his clients. I worked on some cases with Bob and he always put the client's interests first. He was a caring person who was more concerned about other people than he was about himself.

I was always impressed by Bob's knowledge of history. He had a wonderfully warm sense of humor, a ready wit, and genuine compassion. He was a terrific guy who will be missed by all who knew him.

Bob had an office at 2050 Coral Way and helped Jerry hugely in his first judicial campaign. Later when Liz became a lawyer and Jerry was a Judge we would see Bob's wonderful smiling face frequently . Stephen and I will miss Bob's presence.
He spent the last 12 years with us practicing law, telling jokes, having meals, and just sharing the daily moments of life in our office. I still marvel as to how within a week of his arrival here he knew more people in our office building than we had known for the 15 years we had been here! As Bob used to boast to us: "Everybody loves Bob Romagna!" and it was so true.
