KONEFSKY, SAMUEL, a resident of Jacksonville since 1978, passed away on September 19, 2012. He was a member of Beth Shalom Synagogue since moving to Jacksonville and had retired as Chief Administrative Law Judge of the Jacksonville Hearing Office of the Social Security Administration. Mr. Konefsky was a member of the Illinois and Florida Bars and a graduate of DePaul University, College of Law. He was a retired Lt. Colonel, U.S. Air Force Reserve, and had served on extended active duty in the Army and Air Force, and was a Life member of the Jacksonville Elks Lodge #221. He was predeceased by Marilyn, his loving wife of 61 years. He is survived by his brothers, Bernard and Victor Konefsky; nephews, Howard, Larry, Robert and Bryan Konefsky and their families. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, September 23rd, 2012 in Mount Nebo/Kendall Memorial Gardens, 5900 SW 77th Ave in Miami, FL.
