Sara Ann (Alexander)Williams, passed-away at the age of 68 with her family by her side on June 12, 2012 in Miami, Florida. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday June 23rd at 11am at Christ Fellowship at: 8900 S.W. 168 Street In Palmetto Bay, Florida. The Wake will be held Friday, June 22, 2012 from 6pm to 12 Midnight at Kendall Memorial Funeral Home at: 7355 S.W. 117 Avenue in Miami, Florida. The Burial will follow immediately after at Dade South Cemetery, 14200 SW 117th Avenue. Sara was born on September 18, 1943 in St. Augustine, Florida. Her mothers' name was Thelma Rose Geraldine Carey (deceased) and her fathers' name was Harry Alexander (deceased). Sara had three siblings. Annette Cardona, Harriet Puchades and Steven Alexander. Sara was an outspoken, and very outgoing, child and adult. Sara graduated from Miami High in 1961 and did some college courses. Sara was married to Wallace Williams. Together they had four beautiful children. Sara was survived by her children: Angela Spann the eldest, Lisa Newkirk, Anthony Alexander and Kimberly Alexander. Sara had the pleasure of seeing all of her grandchildren: Amanda Hernandez, Taylor Gilchrist, Anthony Williams, Jr., Keira Wright, Kayla Gilchrist, Brianna Newkirk, Faion Davis Jr., Jamari Williams, Dallas Williams Christopher Newkirk, and Maliah Davis. Sara loved and adored all 11 of her grandchildren. She was the best mom ever!!! She was the most caring, loving and understanding woman. We could share anything with her and she would give us her honest opinion. She will be missed; but we know she will live on in our hearts and minds forever. We love you mom!!!!
