It was with deep sorry that I heard of Waynes passing. He was a beloved fellow Kiwanian and church member and neighor. He will alway be remembered as the man we all listened to each and every evening to know what was going on in the world. He will be missed and always remembered.

I just remember "Uncle Wayne" as a part of our extended family. He was always the true gentleman, always the gracious host, always the dry humored comedian. Aunt Betty, John, Bob, David and Anne, my thoughts and prayers are with each of you as you grieve the loss of husband and father.

Wishing the family and friends of Wayne comfort in their loss. My memories of him and my dad working together in Miami at WCKT go back over 45 years - doesn't it all go by in the blink of an eye?

I heard about Wayne's passing away in the news. I really regret hearing the news, since he was my favorite anchorman when I first arrived at Miami from Cuba at the age of 15. May he RIP.
