PERINI, WILLIAM A., of Hollywood, FL died on October 4, 2012 at the age of 91. He was born in Clifton, NJ in 1920. During WWII Bill was stationed in England where he flew 26 missions with the 8th Air Force. He earned several commendations, the Distinguished Flying Cross, and the Purple Heart. While recovering from injuries sustained during the war, he married Joyce Florek at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, FL which was being used as a wartime hospital. They were married for 67 years. Bill loved gardening, hunting, fishing and playing cards with family and friends. He is dearly missed and is survived by the love of his life, Joyce, his daughters Janice Sandri and husband Joseph, Ardell Metzger and husband Paul, his sister Evelyn Geiger, grandchildren Jennifer Altieri, Lynn Coulter, William Sandri and Michael Metzger and great grandchildren William and Faith Altieri and Evan and Mason Coulter and many nieces and nephews. A private interment ceremony with military honors is planned.
