Zoltan Imre, 57, of 13 Howe Rd. died unexpectedly Tuesday at his home. He was born March 21, 1953 in Salzburg, Austria a son of Anna (Szabo) Imre of Pembroke Pines, FL. and the late Frank Imre and had resided in the Plainfield area for over 25 years. He attented Miami Coral Park High School and was a member of the band. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force Reserves. Mr Imre was employed at Foxwoods Resort & Casino for 8 years. He leaves behind his wife of 37 years Donna (Sweeney) Imre, Son Michael, Lori Correia and Logan Imre of Providence, RI, Son Matthew, Valerie, Alex and Katrina Imre of Brooklyn, Ct, Son Martin, Tina Richmond Imre of Moosup, CT, and Mark Imre of Salt Lake City, Utah. One sister Rose Arais of Pembroke Pines, Fl. and Nephew Christopher Arias. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Sunday May 29 at 11:00 a.m. at The First Hungarian United Church of Christ 2236 N.W. 14 st. Miami, Fl. 33125. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. (where he volunteered for the Relay For Life)
