VANAVER, MIRIAM COENSON, took her leave the same way she lived her life, with a strength of will that kept family, friends and caregivers in a state of incredulity. She died on April 15, 2014. She was born Oct. 30, 1927 in Philadelphia, and will be buried beside the love of her life, husband P. S. "Stan" Vanaver in Fredericksburg, VA. Miriam was a homemaker, bookkeeperand a bridge player to be reckoned with. But her passion was her family, who will celebrate her life privately in Virginia. Her daughters deeply appreciate the kind expressions of friends, and are grateful for the care and assistance received from Miami Jewish Health Systems, Seasons Hospice and SeniorityMatters.com. We will miss you: Wendy & Frank Brown/King William, VA; Elissa Vanaver & Roman Lyskowski/Coral Gables; Margie & Ed Brown/Farnham VA; grandsons Logan Harte (Richmond, VA.), David Lyskowski (Ft. Myers, FL) and U.S. Army Sgt. Brian & Jaquelyn Harte and great-granddaughter Emily Harte (Ft. Bliss, TX); and cousin Bambi & Ira Grabow of Miami.
