MUNRO, JAMES NORMAN, , passed away from lung cancer at the age of 55 on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. Born on March 26, 1959, he was the youngest of 6 children. James served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. He was the first crew on the aircraft commissioned in 1977. In 1981 he began a long career in the construction industry; he was the owner of Munro Enterprises, Inc. He took great pride in his work and many construction sites will remain for years to come as a testament of his dedication and talent. He was a hard and honest worker. He loved to make those around him laugh and smile, always putting others before himself. Passionate about motorcycles, antique cars, traveling, boating, music; living his life to the fullest. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. James is survived by his wife, Adela Munro; daughters, Michelle Garcia, Stephanie Munro; grandchildren, Aiden and Isabella Garcia; sisters, brother and his father Charles Munro and numerous nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his mother Marian Munro and sister, Judy Munro. He was a loving dedicated son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed. Visitation 6 pm - 12 midnight Monday April 28th and Funeral Service 10 am Tuesday April 29th at VAN ORSDEL CORAL GABLES. Burial Graceland Park North.
