WATSON, ROBERT BURDETTE (Bob) of Miami Fl, 77, passed away on Sunday 5/18/2014. He had been in failing health for the past 6 months. Mr. Watson was born in Chambersburg, PA. on March 19, 1937, Son of the late Edna and Raymond Watson. It is with great sorrow that we lose such a loyal and committed father, veteran and friend. He served in the Armed Forces in Okinawa until settling down in Miami as a typesetter with our mom; Barbara Ann Sobick. After 14 short years of retirement with an impressive Orchid Collection he served two orchid Societies East Everglades (EEOS) and South Dade Amateur (SDAOC). He is survived by his two sons Joseph B. Watson of Fremont, Ca., Timothy R. Watson of Miami Fl., Granddaughter Jessica M. Watson of Fremont Ca. and one sibling brother Gerald Watson of Maryland. A Memorial Gathering will take place at Stanfill Funeral Home on May25th from 10am to 12 noon with military honors at 11am.
