BRITT, DENNIS EDWIN, 64, of Kendall, FL passed away Friday, June 13, 2014. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on July 5, 1949. He spent his childhood between Honduras, as part of the United Fruit Company family, and Mississippi. Dennis served in the U.S. Army as a Special Forces Green Beret and while stationed in Italy, he met his wife of 36 years, Rosa-Maria Ferracin. Upon returning to the states he developed a successful career as a trilingual entrepreneur and investor. He worked in many cities throughout the U.S., and enjoyed visiting family and friends all over Europe and Latin America. He also enjoyed playing tennis, golf and cruising around the world. Dennis is missed dearly and survived by his wife and son, Marco Dennis Britt, his mother, Lydia Mahchi Britt, brother Ronald Britt and sisters, Brenda Britt Hinds, Peggy Britt Vidal and Sandra Britt Vazquez. The viewing will be held from 6-10 p.m. Friday, June 20th, at Woodlawn Cemetery, located at 11655 S.W. 117th Avenue. The funeral will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 21st, also at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
