WELLER, TIMOTHY W., age 63, formerly of Preble County, Ohio, died Monday, July 7, 2014 in Miami, FL following a courageous battle with cancer. Tim was born November 21, 1950 in Richmond, IN to Richard E. and Marilyn J. Weller. After graduating from National Trail High School in 1969, he served 4 years in the US Air Force serving as an interpreter in Taiwan. Upon returning home he attended Ohio State University and later began his career in hotel management. He moved to Miami, FL in 1988 where he has worked 26 years for MDM Hotel Group. His last position was VP for Development. Tim was a passionate runner, biker and swimmer. He touched many lives coaching and encouraging others to be the best they could be in their athletic endeavors. Tim, with friends, ran many marathons and completed Ironman triathlons in NY, WI and FL. Tim was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Florencia Rotemberg; brothers Gary (Marilynn) of Gilbert, AZ; Dean (Judy) of Eaton, OH and sister, Linda Stewart of Richmond, IN; father and mother-in-law Isaac J. Rotemberg & Nelly S. Piegari; brothers Hernan L. (Veronica Magnou and niece, Milagros) and Pablo J. Rotemberg, all of Argentina; Aunts Doris Dallas and Kathy Gilmore; Uncle Jim Gilmore; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation and viewing service for Tim will be held Friday, July 11, 2014 at the Granada Presbyterian Church in Coral Gables from 10 am to 11 am with memorial service immediately following. Ohio services will be Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Barnes Funeral Home, Eaton, OH from 9:15am to 10am for family viewing only. Graveside service with military honors for family and friends at 10:30 am at Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria, OH. Please, in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Miami, FL.
