Brittain, Marcie Jo, passed away on December 3, 2012. Marcie was born in Miami Beach on November 23, 1959 to James and Barbara Hershey. She is survived by her husband Jim Brittain, daughter Erin-Anne Brittain, brothers Danny and Marty Hershey, sisters Nancy (Fred)Levin and Sherrie (John) Addante, nieces Melissa and Jamie, and nephews Max and Andy. After a debilitating illness at age 12, Marcie went on to constantly beat the odds, earning two Master's degrees and numerous professional honors. Marcie spent her entire professional career in service to others, first through the Easter Seal Society and for the last 20 years with the Agency for People with Disabilities. She touched many lives and was a force in ensuring that people received the services they needed. While Marcie was devoted to her work, her passion was her family and friends. She loved nothing more than to find an opportunity to shop while traveling with friends.
