GOLDSTEIN, Florence Minsky, 90, died in Miami on December 17, 2012. The daughter of Michael and Belle Hertzoff, she was born and raised in Queens, NY. She lived in Woodbridge, NJ and Kingston, PA before moving to Miami in 1968. She was married to Max Minsky from 1943 until his death in 1979, and to Sanford Goldstein from 1982 until his death in 1999. She worked as an elementary school teacher in Woodbridge, NJ and then alongside her husband Max built and ran Green Briar Nursing Center in Miami. She loved art, literature, classical music and (especially) travelling. She is survived by daughters Joyce (Roger) Nussbaum of Highland Park, NJ and Deborah (Russell) Silverman of Coral Gables, FL; four grandchildren, Michael Nussbaum, Jared Nussbaum, Aaron Silverman, and Shira Nafshi, and five great grandchildren: Max and Gabe Nussbaum, Gaia and Guri Nussbaum, and Zella Silverman. She was also very close to her nephew Charles (Vera) Hirsh and his sons Marc, Daniel, and Michael, and 8 grandchildren. Services on Tues, Dec. 18, 2012 at 3 PM Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapel at Mt Nebo Kendall, 5900 SW 77 Ave., Miami, FL 33143.
