HALLSTRAND, Amelia "Marge" Johnson, 85, longtime Pinecrest resident, recently of Wesley Chapel, Fl., went home to the Lord Dec. 3, 2012. Born in Lakewood, Oh. Aug. 18, 1927, later moving to Winnetka, Ill., Marge graduated from Northwestern Univ with a BS in Education and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She and her husband of 57 years, the late Dr. Harold O. Hallstrand, moved to Miami in 1956, where they raised 8 children. She is survived by her children, David P., Patricia (Bob) Hackett, Karen (Marty) Miller, Rick (Linda), Judy (Tony) Wood, Margie (Mike) Rylee, Lisa (Marks) Attwood, Bob (Anette), 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many other loving friends and family members. Although she was highly educated she unselfishly dedicated her life to nurturing her children and supporting her husband in his professional life. She took pleasure in traveling, cooking, painting and anything that included family. She's gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. A memorial will be held Feb. 2nd at Tampa Bay Presbyterian Church, 19911 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, Fl. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to HPH Hospice, 12107 Majestic Blvd., Hudson, Fl., 33667-2455.
