BEHEL, Jean A., age 84 years old, passed away on February 10, 2013 after a long illness in Davie Florida with her daughters Debbie Aniello, Leslie Johnson and Sandy Lindstrom by her side. Mrs. Behel lived in Miami Springs with her husband Bill from 1950 to 1990 where they operated the Field Shops Inc., an airline uniform business on NW 36 Street that is still operated by their daughter Leslie Behel Johnson. Jeannie was predeceased by her beloved husband Bill in 2006 and her parents Edith and Elmer Lewis and brothers Bob and Jim. She is survived by three daughters, a sister, seven grandchildren, four great children and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Visitation is 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Gardens Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood. A family service will be held at the Elkins's Funeral Home in Florence, Alabama on February 16, 2013 where she will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Church of Christ with her beloved husband William H. Behel amid the love and well wishes of her beloved family who will celebrate her life and not her passing. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted by United Cerebral Palsy of South Florida, 1411 NW 14th Avenue, Miami, Fla. 33125 in her memory.
