BASHA, Albert, 86, died peacefully on July 23,2013. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, his Lebanese family relocated to Brooklyn. He later served the Navy in WW II. As a talented dancer and gifted teacher, for 14 years he ran the Eden Roc Hotel dance studio, teaching Latin dances and performing for celebrities and guests. Before retiring to Key West, he owned LaBelle Fabrics in the Miami Design District for 40 years. The youngest of 6 siblings, he was adored for his unconditional love and acceptance for all. Besides his devoted wife, Omaira, Albert is survived by brother Enver (Faith); sister Olga Rothman; daughters Suzanne Soriano, Dianne Castro (Jose Luis), Karen Egozi; step-daughter Angie Yanes; grandchildren Carrie Frolich (Peter), Colleen Soriano, Jiannina and Jose Castro (Nathan), Ryan and Elias Egozi; great grandchildren Margaux and Victor Frolich; 3 step-grandchildren and 16 nieces/nephews.
