PIOTROWSKI, EDWARD J., 94, passed away peacefully in the home of Ed and Barbara Parker on November 12, 2013. Edward was born in 1919 in Detroit, MI. He served proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII, and rose to the rank of Master Sergeant. He had the great fortune to have met and somehow convince Ruth Nealon to marry him. They enjoyed 52 wonderful years together. For over three decades he was the Comptroller of the Consolidated Electric Supply Company. Until recent years, he was an avid golfer and a long-time Miami Dolphins fan. He became an excellent bridge player and was active in the Elks Club. He was a kind and generous man and loved his family. He is survived by his three sons, Edward N. Parker (Barbara), John L. Parker (former daughter in law Sharon), Michael J. Piotrowski (Vicki), his five grandchildren, Barton, Corinne, Michael, Laura and James, and four great-grandchildren, Ryan, Jill, Luke and Clara. There will be a visitation on Saturday at 11 am, Nov 23,2013 at Van Orsdel Kendall Chapel, 11220 N. Kendall Dr. Miami, with a graveside service to follow at Woodlawn Park Cemetery South, 11655 SW 117 Ave. Miami.
