COVAL Timothy Eugene Coval, known as Mr. Coval to many students and parents in the community passed away peacefully December 12, 2013 from complications with diabetes. Tim was born on October 8, 1960 to Janice and Eugene Coval of Whitehall, Pennsylvania. He was a 1979 graduate of Whitehall High School where he was both an athlete and a musician. He received a computer/ communication technology degree from Northampton Community College before graduating with a degree in education from Kutztown University. While in school, Tim played guitar with many bands from the Lehigh Valley, PA area. Tim moved to the Florida Keys in 1993 to start his teaching career. While living in Florida, he taught in Miami, at Island Christian School and at Stanley Switlik Elementary School. He brought joy, laughter and music into the classroom. He has now joined the angels in heaven where he continues to do the same. Survivors include his parents Janice and Eugene Coval; brother Scott and his wife Kaye of Orefield, PA along with their children Keeley, Mia and Nicholas; sister Amy Wurth and her husband Mark of Boca Raton, FL, along with their children Ella and Sam; fianc Jamie Buhyoff of Marathon and her children Erica and Erinn; aunts, uncles, cousins and their families. In lieu of flowers, the family asked for donations to please be made to the Diabetes .
