ECKMAN, PAUL E., 93, passed away July 12, 2014. He was predeceased by his wife, Frances and daughter, Barbara. Paul is survived by his son, Paul II (Crystal); grandsons, Paul III (Christine), Mitch (Anna) and Adam "Kal"; and great grandson, Dima. Paul was born in Youngstown, OH in 1920 and after high school, he joined the Civilian Conservation Corps. He entered the Navy as a member of the VFA-25 Strike Fighter Squadron 25 aboard the aircraft carrier Chenango in the Pacific. After WWII, he attended U of M. Paul was also a Mason. He was the production manager of Aerodex and owned an aircraft cylinder shop. Paul was loved and will be remembered for his kind soul. Contributions to woundedwarriorproject.org.
