Dearest Margret, Missy, Kim, Johnny and Alan. My deepest condolences to you all.
The last couple of weeks Alan has been in my thoughts not knowing he had passed away.
I searched his name on line to see if I could reach out to him to say hello and found he had recently left us. My heart aches as I am writing this message. Alan was my mentor, a wonderful friend and someone I loved immensely! He lived for his family while enjoying his life. He was an exceptional human being and someone I truly admire. I will always cherish the wonderful memories I have of Alan and his family. My prayers for all of you to find comfort during this difficult time.
Please feel free to reach me any time.

Margret, we are thinking of you and all who knew and loved Alan. Your devotion to each other was clearly seen, and we are honored to have known you both through our Pan Am get togethers. We are leaving now for Ohio and will be unable to attend the celebration of his life. Know you are in our thoughts and prayers. With much love, Nancy & Norman Scherr

Always ready with a funny story or quip, Alan was blessed with a sense of humor that always left you laughing. His sharp mind and vast knowledge made him a great conversationalist and a joy to be around. I will miss him.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Please accept my deepest sympathies. I worked with Alan at Dade Federal Savings Bank for many years and held him in high regard. It has probably been 25-30 years since I last saw him, but I always have good memories of our work experiences. God bless.
