Alice Sevy, 85, died of natural causes at her residence in Keno, Ore., Saturday, July 5, 2014, with her family at her side. She was born July 11, 1928, in Tucson, Ariz., to Carlos and Clarissa Cox Randall. She married Marvin Sevy in St. David, Ariz., in October 1959. They moved to Klamath Falls from Idaho in 1990. She worked as a library technician, retiring in 1986. She had a bachelor's degree with an English major and Spanish minor. She loved animals and the environment and gardening. Proper English and good grammar were extremely important to her. In addition to her husband, Marvin of Keno, she is survived by her daughters, Christina Soule of Miami, Fla., Kathleen Sevy of Keno, Leigh Sevy of Nevada City, Calif., and Christina Soule of Miami; a first cousin, Gerry Wilkie of Santa Barbara, Calif.; and numerous relatives in Texas and California. Disposition was by Pyramid Cremations. Ward's Klamath Funeral Home, 541-882-4404, is in charge of the arrangements.
