Corinne Shirley Cunningham was born at home March 20, 1930, to Lena Hibbert Parker and Charles "Raymond" Parker in Klamath Falls, Ore., and passed away at her home in Klamath Falls, Ore., Feb. 20, 2014, from natural causes.
Her grandparents and parents originally settled in the Swan Lake area and later moved to Klamath Falls.
On Sep. 26, 1947, she married Orvil Cunningham, and they were married 66 years. They enjoyed camping and hunting. Her favorite spots included Brookings, Ore., the Rogue River and Lake of the Woods.
Corinne loved growing flowers with prize-winning results that were enjoyed by family and friends. Her Japanese koi were so tame, they could be fed by hand.
She is survived by her husband, Orvil Cunningham, daughter Lana Kautzman and husband Bo;, son, Marlin Cunningham and wife, Julie; grandchildren, Tonya Nanneman, Dustin Kautzman, Shawn Cunningham and Ian Kautzman, 13 great-grandchildren, nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins from Klamath Falls.
In honor of Corinne's memory and pursuant to her wishes, a gravesite service was held at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens on Monday, Feb. 24.
