Franklin "Frank" Joseph Brown, 75, passed away Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, in Sky Lakes Medical Center in Klamath Falls.
Frank was born in Kirksville, Miss., to Boyd and Loretta Yadon Brown. He was raised in Kirksville and moved to California.
After high school, Frank enlisted in the U.S.A.F., where he became a jet mechanic, and later retired from the military in 1994. He also had a career in the Oregon National Guard.
He then worked in manufacturing and assembled freightliners, and later became a bus driver for Tri-Met.
Frank's hobbies were model airplanes and watching and listening to jets of all types.
Frank is survived by his sons, Robert (Elaine) of Vancouver, Wash., and Randolph (Leslie) of Puyallup, Wash.; daughter, Patricia "Patty" (Harry) Bue of Canby, Ore.; brothers, Larry (Darolyn) of Medford, Ore., and Patrick (Donna) of Grants Pass, Ore.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Loretta and brothers, Raymond and Ronald Brown.
There will be a military graveside service at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at Klamath Memorial Park Cemetery, 2680 Memorial Drive. Local Pelican Post Volunteers Post No. 1383, Veterans of Foreign Wars
, and Marines will present Honors for Frank.
