Mr. George Henry Stucey, 81, passed away Monday, July 1, 2013, at home.
He was born Feb. 11, 1932, in Cazenovia, N.Y., to the late George Henry Stucey Sr. and Eda Suzanne Fryckholm.
Mr. Stucey's family moved to California when he was young and, after high school, he joined the U.S. Navy
Upon completion of his tour of duty, he developed the Castle Maintenance Corporation, a highly successful maintenance business in the San Francisco Bay area of California, of which he was the corporation president. Years later, he sold his business and moved from Concord, Calif., to Cedarville, Calif., to pursue the dream of owning a ranch. Upon retirement, he moved to Klamath Falls, Ore., where he enjoyed his constant companion Sadie, fishing, and his many woodcarving friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jay Stucey.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Harvey of the home; his sister, Sally Ann (Robert) Bacon of West Covina, Calif.; three daughters, Kay (Rodney) Johnson of Poquoson, Va., Lynn (Randy) Szilagyi of Canal Fulton, Ohio, and Anne Courtney of Orinda, Calif.; four grandchildren, Ryan and Adam Szilagyi and Kayla and Brianna Johnson; and four step-children, Mike Kallas, Daniel Kallas, Andrea Damgaard and Claudia Szeliga. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. C. Keith Cofas, Dr. Richard Devore, and Klamath Hospice, along with Bob and Patty Tucker, for their constant, loving care.

A celebration of George's life will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Klamath Tribute Center. Eternal Hills Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
